Promajna
during the summer
Promajna is a small fishermen village located between Baška Voda and Makarska. First people inhabited this area in 17th century. However, there are archeological findings that indicate human presence since 2nd century BC. Today, it is a modern tourist destination with less than 300 inhabitants who are engaged mostly in tourism.
This place is perfect for families with children because of the beautiful beaches, park and water park. Additionally, there is very little car traffic in the town center. Promajna is connected to nearby towns by the coastal promenade. The whole town is located beneath the Adriatic highway. Hence, all accommodation is relatively close to the beach (up to 5 minutes).
The town has restaurants, beach bars and supermarkets that work only during the season.
